It operates within the framework of the project "Integrating Feminist Legal Theory into Legal Education, Research and Practice", proudly funded by the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Hanoi Office. The conference aims to push the boundaries of legal interpretation by systematically rewriting historical and contemporary judgments through a feminist lens.

Launched during FGL Week 2024, the Faculty of Economic Law hosted an essay writing competition and an immersive poster design activity focused on feminism, gender, and law for all UEL students.
Students participated in groups, producing visuals that merged feminist legal theory with creative communication. High-scoring essays received curated book collections covering essential feminist literature.

On the afternoon of 10 April 2024, the Faculty of Economic Law organized a high-level open talk and international roundtable. This event serves as a foundational milestone in the project's mission to explore the intersection of gender, labor, and legal theory across Vietnamese and European perspectives.

The 2022 Special Lecture Series was organized within the framework of the project by the University of Economics and Law (UEL), VNU-HCM, in collaboration with the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Southeast Asia Office. The programme introduced key issues concerning women in law and the law of gender equality in the United States, while also creating an academic space for discussion on feminist legal theory and interdisciplinary approaches to legal research.
The programme featured world-class speakers, including Prof. Elizabeth Porter (Interim Dean, Law School, University of Washington) and Ms. Elena Caruso (PhD Candidate in Law, University of Kent, UK).

The 2021 Feminist Legal Theory Workshop was an early academic activity of the project, bringing together scholars, researchers, and practitioners to explore the theoretical foundations of feminist legal thought and its emerging applications within the Vietnamese legal context. The workshop provided a space for participants to engage with international feminist legal scholarship and to connect its frameworks with the realities of Vietnamese law and gender equality.
