FGL Posters Competition 2024

A student-facing competition launched during FGL Week 2024 at UEL, combining essay writing and collaborative poster design around the themes of feminism, gender, and law.

Competition Overview

Within the framework of FGL Week 2024, the Faculty of Economic Law officially launched an essay writing competition and a poster design activity on feminism, gender, and law for all UEL students.

1. Essay Writing Competition

Participants were invited to share their perspective on the following bell hooks statement:

"If any female feels she needs anything beyond herself to legitimate and validate her existence, she is already giving away her power to be self-defining, her agency."
  • Length: 1,500-2,000 words.
  • Formatting: Times New Roman, font size 14.
  • Submission: Official Google Form.
  • Deadline: 30 August 2024.

2. Poster Design Competition

Students participating in the poster design stream were divided into 12 groups. Each group designed one poster around a topic related to feminism, gender, and law.

Institutional Support: VND 1,000,000 / group

To support the design process, each group was provided with resources for the implementation of its poster activity. This format combined collaborative learning and visual communication.

Selected posters were displayed during FGL Week, promoting thematic engagement with feminist legal ideas across the university campus.
