National Academic Conference "Toward Vietnamese Feminist Judgments"

Research into feminist theory, feminist legal theory, and gender studies is increasingly becoming a trend in legal scholarship, contributing to law reform, the promotion of social justice, and gender equality. A particular advantage for Vietnamese researchers today is the growing presence of social movements related to gender equality, which has helped disseminate knowledge of feminist theory in general, and feminist legal theory in particular. Nevertheless, academic forums must continue to deepen their engagement in order to advance the integration of feminist thought into legal research and gender studies, and to uncover the hidden gender biases embedded in law-making and law enforcement.

The project Integrating Feminist Legal Theory into Legal Education, Research and Practice is coordinated and implemented by the University of Economics and Law (Vietnam National University HCMC) and funded by Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Hanoi Office. Within this framework, the 2025 National Academic Conference on the theme "Toward Vietnamese Feminist Judgments" is organised to identify outstanding papers for publication in a scholarly monograph on Vietnamese Feminist Judgments.

The Organising Committee cordially invites researchers, academics, practitioners, and activists to submit abstracts in accordance with the submission rules provided.

For further details, please refer to the Abstract Submission Rules page.
