"TOWARD VIETNAMESE FEMINIST JUDGMENTS 2025" (VFJ 2025)

Dear academics, researchers, doctoral candidates, graduate students, undergraduate students, and all those with an interest in feminist legal scholarship,

With the aim of creating an academic forum for the exchange, sharing, and dissemination of innovative perspectives in gender-oriented legal research, the University of Economics and Law (UEL) cordially invites you to attend the academic conference:

This conference is a follow-up event to the publication Toward Vietnamese Feminist Judgments — a collection of rewritten judicial decisions approached from a feminist perspective by legal scholars and academics in Vietnam. It is not only an academic endeavour to reimagine the judicial reasoning process through the lens of gender justice, but also an invitation to reflect deeply on how law can reflect and shape substantive justice for women and marginalised groups.

Attendee Benefits

• Transportation to and from the conference venue will be arranged by the Organising Committee.
• Attendees are invited to join lunch at the conference.
• Each attendee will receive a copy of the book Toward Vietnamese Feminist Judgments, as well as the forthcoming volume upon its release.
